Love In Action

February 11, 2023, ANAVETS México Unit 19 (Army Navy Airforce Veterans Association) held a silent auction fundraiser at Mama’s Musical Bar in San Antonio Tlayacapan to aid the 22 girls aged 6 to 18 who live at the Love in Action (Amor en Acción) home for children in Chapala.

Rick Palmer, President, and Carol McChesney Entertainment chair presented 22 bags of personal items for the girls at Love in Action. Items were purchased from the proceeds of a silent auction. Vice President Derek McChesneys’ mother lovingly hand crafted and donated the bags. Thank You to all involved!!

ANAVETS Supports The Community We Live in!

ANAVETS Mexico Unit 19 was proud to sponsor a Fundraiser for Mi Bebe y Yo on March 2, 2024 at Torcello Restaurant in San Antonio Tlayacapan. A Silent Auction raised over 25 thousand pesos for this wonderful charity. There was also a 50/50 and a quilt raffle as part of the Fundraiser. The Food was fantastic and great music by Johnny Guzman made for a wonderful afternoon.
